What timeline are we living in, colts and seahawks making trades to go all in based on the qb play of daniel jones and sam darnold??? Im here for the chaos tho
I'm just glad that AD Mitchell isn't on the Colts anymore.

Real. I'm curious on your thoughts on the Sauce Gardner trade. 2 first round picks is pretty big and also Sauce hasn't been playing that well. Personally, I feel like he was just tired of losing idk. I feel like the energy from being on actual good team for once will make him play better.

I'm optimistic about it. The price was certainly steep, as two first round picks is what the Packers gave up for Micah Parsons. The trade does to me make sense though. With Charvarious Ward out with another concussion and the secondary banged up in general, another DB always great. I think part of Sauce's issue was being the only good defensive back the Jets had since DJ Reed left, so he's basically being asked to be the secondary, plus with a very poor pass rush he has to cover even longer. I think he'll turn out to be solid, as he'll actualy have a competent secondary around him with Ward, Kenny Moore, Nick Cross, Camryn Bynum, and Jaylon Jones. The pass rush is also much better for the Colts I would say, although now with Buckner being on IR with a neck injury it might tank a little. Laiatu Latu is starting to emerge though, and Adetomiwa Adebwore is showing flashes. Overall I'd give the Colts a B+ for now on the trade. I'm just glad they got him over the other guys they were looking at, Deonte Banks and Alontae Taylor. I actually really like Taylor but he's not the same caliber of player that Sauce is.

Didn’t think about the pass rush playing a factor at all but I agree that the colts pass rush should be able to help Sauce better
