EA is being real lazy with these events. There has been no draft mode, or any mode that switches things up other than ZC snowy event.
Roku No Tatakai was fun last year. It was just different and a fun way to earn some power currency. But no, let's go with another 2 min quarters event. Woohoo.

In case peeps don’t know, No Roku was a 6v6 mode. Same playbook for everyone, quite limited on the plays but you could audible.
Each player had 3 possessions.
More points for double passing scores, ie you’d pass to a player behind the LOS and then could pass again.
There was a timer to pass. You also couldn’t QB run past LOS unless a defender came across. You could easily bait a defender across with a receiver, or evade a blitzer and run.
You could choose extra point play for 1-3 points, going for 3 you’d start more yards farther back.
No win streak rewards, just a pretty simple game mode you could play to switch things up. Rewarded a fixed amount of power currency.
