Why even have Short Route KO in the game if it does nothing

I have this on all my DBs instead of pick artist when playign the college OT event

In the redzone, on short yardage, I will sometimes play man and blitz heavy

Short Route KO doenst work

Ive had like 10 times it should have activated...a catch everytime

I know they toned down Mid Zone KO, but Man KOs should work more often since its must harder to get a man KO then zone KO

All KOs are a chance now, if you asked EA that’s probably what they would say.

Also I don’t think even EA knows how they coded this heaping pile of dogshit that they waste John Madden’s likeness on

I feel like my zone KO’s don’t even work like 80% of the time either. Not really sure what the best setup is anymore with defensive abilities.

My guess is offensive abilities are countering or at least lessening the effects of the defensive abilities.

But that actually makes sense, so I doubt that's how this game works lol.

In CPU BYOT, you don't need knockout abilities: They don't work against the CPU, and the CPU gets knockouts without them.
