Why are legendary strat cards so expensive?

Weren’t they a fraction of the current cost just a few weeks ago? And weren’t there a lot more for sale?

These days I’m barely finding any available and the ones that are cost an arm and a leg. What happened?!

there's no set for them available, so they drop in price when you can get them in the field pass and then go back up until the next time you can get them

There was a second batch of Legendary Strategy Items released, many significantly more impactful than earlier Legendary items. They're pricey because users had to pay Points for a chance to acquire the item early from the Season Pass. Prices will fluctuate some just as users can naturally reach the level that awards the Choose-1-of-5 Legendary Strategy Item Fantasy Pack, but the prices will stay elevated for some time after that, as demand will exceed supply until a Legendary Strategy Item Set is finally released, which likely won't happen for at least another eleven days.

Many of the earlier items have names somewhat similar to the newer items, so be careful what you pay for.

They'll tank again in a week as people hit level 47 or whatever on the field pass.

What level should we be at? I don’t complete all the dailies and weeklies so I’m always behind.

They'll release a set down the line but it could be weeks, possibly months.
