I am kind of lost and I've never really felt like this since I started playing Madden in 2017. I feel like there isn't much I can do to make my team better without spending money. (I understand that the game isn't fully out ye,t so this is less content than usual)
Earlier I sniped 25x of the 79 OVR Pregame promo cards and built 1x 85 OVR Joe Alt. I was getting the 79's at 7548 each, there were a lot listed because of the 1 coin pack. So I built 85 OVR Joe Alt for 188,700 coins and sold him for 235,000 (exact number was like 235,287 or some weird number). Anyhow, I profited just under 23K.
The nice thing about it was that each time I did a set, I was able to get XP for the Pregame pass and maxed it out at level 8. At level 8 of that pass you get an 82+ BND pack. I pulled 85 OVR Hunt and was able to upgrade that position as a by product of the set building process.

Ive been doing these as well but keep getting beat once i get to the one where you start down 60-0.You have to play damn near perfect to win that one.

Streak
Mid Blitz with Aggressive Tackle and Aggressive Strip Ball
Repeat
You actually steal most of the points on defense. Sometimes the CPU gets cute and runs repeatedly, Those are the toughest games, but when the r CPU passes, it’s regularly a strip sack returned for a TD.
10 game run should take 40-45 minutes.

this ^ haven’t lost once in my 5 runs. sack fumbles and hit stick fumbles are KEY on defence. without them you won’t have a chance

I dunno. I got to the 60-down level, and my hit sticks wouldn't force fumbles. Then it got deeper into the game, and I was down enough that the CPU chewed clock with three successive runs before the two minute warning. It was pretty sweaty just getting to my final possession, but I did managed to win a 50/50 ball in the endzone for the win.
Maybe I need to spend my points and open my Rookie Premieres.

My 65-down attempt got ugly at the end. I was struggling to complete passes on offense, and my defense was again not forcing fumbles. I was down one point with two minutes to play, and not getting any pass rush. My tackles were being broken. But finally I forced a fumble to win it.

These modes piss me off. Comments like yours make wins sound so attainable, but at the end of the game when I can't force fumbles, I finally force one, and it's recovered by the CPU. I lose by two points.

sometimes you do get unlucky though man. my biggest advice is to run mid blitz and make SURE you switch ONTO the defender who is about to make the sack. this almost guarantees a fumble!
and also spam your time outs in those final couple games when you get 3 earlier rather than later. use them when they’re still throwing the ball and complete a pass instead of in the last 2 mins when they run and chew clock

That last paragraph is actually key. I've been trying to nail down the time when it transitions to chew clock.
I just wish I didn't always flip tails.
