I'm new to playing ranked and want to know if anyone has some good tips to increase ranked points. I'm trying to get Darnell Washington for my theme team.

There is no real trick -- if yer team (and scheme) are fairly competitive, you just need to play as many games as feasible. Even if you lose a bunch in a row, just keep grinding and hopefully you'll win once every few games and your progress will continue. This is only now my uhhh 3rd Ranked cycle, but the best advice i received when starting out (the very last week during DeVondre Campbell cycle, no issues completing in less than 7-8 days) was to simply, "Play a lot of games."
That's basically it.

clock management is important because its like permanent chew clock in ranked for some reason. having a good run game to ice the game is huge.
