In certain packages I have a player wearing number 4 come up and I have no idea who it is and they are getting cooked by wrs . Any insight would help please. Is it that I don't have enough backups and it pulling someone. That happened to me in past maddens

It will pull whoever has the highest rating to fill the spot unless they are a starter.

Each defense calls for a different positions to be on the field. Sometimes a formation will call for multiple safeties, an extra cornerback, or outside linebackers at defensive end spots. If you don’t have enough depth at a certain position, it will take other players and put them there. For example, if you call a three tight end formation but only have two tight ends in your roster, one of you linebackers will be subbed in. Swift is most likely being subbed in because the formation needs another cornerback or something. What’s your defensive depth like?
