MUT Squads Defense question (I need help)

Currently going back and forth with the homie who has hybrid defense and focusing on MCV and ZCV. 

And I'm saying we really just need to run high ZCV and not worry about man with the way we've been getting passed on.

Does MCV matter?? I need advice

Switching up scheme here and there is helpful...you see alot of zone in squads though because 2 can patrol middle of field letting you run Mable and deep blues
