Who are your must have cards for O and D
Julio, Pat Peterson, for me Bryce Young, furious George, the 2 draft DTs
I'm on a budget. There is a lot more expensive cards out there I don't have.
Edit: GET Baker instead of bryce

good to know, i sold awhile back. I have 5M but i just want to spend enough to be competitive until RPs come out
Combine and All Star Athletes are both still pretty great if you’re trying to build a team with 5 mil.
Combine Pat Pete plays the same as the Tribute card.
Sugar Rush Anthony Richardson is a top 5 QB for rental price.
All Star Athletes Derrick Henry is the best HB in the game.

I second Combine and ASA. If you're on a budget, Barno's chargeable UF for 0 is probably still a viable edge rusher and Combine Hunter may still be a viable one as well.... i swapped them out when the ASA's came out (Larry and Ed Too Tall) but they were starting forever for me. Still got them in as backups for their boosts. Both ASA Calvins have been lights out for me these days. The new Derwin 99 has been really great too and is a set card.
I'm gonna throw Sugar Rush J.O.K. in there. He makes so many plays as SubLb1.

dude says "I'm on a budget." and then lists a bunch of LTD cards as must have. Like 8 mil worth. lol.

to be fair I didn't list the budget part in original post, and he didn't specify if it was the LTD version or not of those cards

here is the lineup I currently have. I have 5.2M, I mostly play squads so I really only need to spend on one side of the ball.

Your saying combine Pat is as good as tribute ltd??? I guess I didn't clarify that haha.

No only ltds I was referring to was Julio and Pat. The rest are set cards

The 99 Tribute Pat played the same for me as the Combine. I actually had many more noticeable big plays with the Combine card. Combine card also gets the on/off X-factors that arguably make it even better than the tribute.
Obviously the tribute card gets X3 team chem, OOP ASA chem which can boost his height, and the motivator chems that are damn near pointless at this point with almost every card exceeding important thresholds.

Tribute oop chem is really good I thought goes to 6'4" and he gets UC for 0 and bottleneck plus return man. I feel he is clearly better except Pat gets avalanche or reinforcement. Combine Pat was a dawg for me but I don't see how he is equal. If you run only zone than I can see that but I don't see how you can run zone still every play. Especially with Omaha now.... Your thoughts? I love hearing all sides
Must haves for me as many other have said, Julio Jones, Pat Pete. Also, Larry Allen DT and Ant CB

Yes I run 99% zone.
The height boost is cool but I haven’t had issues with the Combine height either. Plenty of times where Combine Pat has picked off tall receivers by jumping 10 feet in the air and undercutting the throw. I have had issues with some of the giant OOP guys going for INT’s and the ball goes right through their hands though.
Bottleneck only works if you Man Press and Double Me still regularly torches it. Pretty much everyone has Calvin WR and any good player has 2-3 WR’s that will beat Bottleneck. If they don’t have any of these WR’s you won’t need Bottleneck to beat them. To me this renders Bottleneck useless.
Return man is cool but again I am going to use one of many WR’s or HB’s as my returner over Pat.
Andrew Luck isn’t on every team, I haven’t even played against him yet. Omaha doesn’t scare me, I will continue getting wins either way. Most of the players using Andrew Luck with Omaha will be running cover 0 blitzes and they will grow tired of me torching their bottleneck DB’s.
