Mid blitz loop cheese

I’m not a good player but I’m trying to get better this year.

H2h playoffs 1 game away from superbowl and I could not find a solution to this guys double mug defense.

He would press loop mid blitz id counter with flats, zigs, drags, stemmed down corner routes etc.

He then went cover 2 or cover 3 out of double mug still loop his edge on a stunt and get insta pressure. I tried the new protection half slides and ignoring his obvious user and still 1-2 seconds to throw. My oline has some gold cards but isnt THAT bad.. What could I do better? Any general tips? I would appreciate any help thank you!

I go 5 wide against these guys, throw hot. Double pivot is a good one as it has 2 zigs, or use drags, or hitches, curls, sometimes a seam if it’s open. Snap and throw. Stemming down a corner is good aswell.

Make sure you base block tho cos empty protection is poor.

Sometimes I call 4 verts and change the slot to a curl, then when the user starts biting on it, I change one of the other receivers to a slant to hit the area the user vacates.

The other really effective thing is an RPO that sends a TE or WR to a flat. Or an automation on a HB wheel.
