Why is there so many exploits in the game, I haven’t played since 21 and the game has gotten 30x worse even the promos are pure garbage. Same players every year, this is my last year playing
none of them are exploits except speed boosting… cheesy yes exploit no
someone took a beating in h2h

Not sure how anyone can argue against HB Direct, Mid Blitz, or RPO’s being foundational to exploiting the AI. The defense quite obviously cannot adequately cover these plays without putting the right abilities on the field and making several pre-snap adjustments peculiar to each play being countered. It takes so much less skill and absolutely no football IQ to execute the named plays. Countering them requires a tremendous amount of knowledge about how Madden’s “physics” and AI work.
Where did people come up with this idea of cheesy as a way to get around saying “cheating”, which is to gain an unfair advantage? Clearly that is what happens with these plays. That is why they’re constantly seen among the game’s top players.
Reason: Punctuation
Destroys mid blitz if they dont make adjustments

The speed boost/burst is a huge glitch - and probably the worst thing Ive seen in Mut over the past 5 years
EA has to know about this but refuses to correct it - it could be patched in minutes
Thats a huge shame for this company
HB Direct would be 10000x easier to stop if they got rid of the speed boost/burst
Same with Heavy Saint QB Gadget run
WIthout freight train and speed boost/burst, they would be shedded for losses by DBs with Out My Way or DEs with No outsiders
HB Direct/QB Power runs have been in the games for years, but it wasnt until the speed boost/burst they became a problem
Honest question, why is mid blitz a glitch? Isn't it just rushing more guys than there are blockers?
I don’t use mid blitz because I think it sucks. Never works when people use it against me and everytime I’ve ever called it it just gets roasted with guys running free everywhere with the man coverage 8 yards behind them.
I do like to come out in double mug to have the threat of the mid blitz and call different combinations of zone coverage or even cover 1 out of it. I never use mid blitz naked because it doesn’t work in my opinion.
If it is a glitch I’ll stop using the formation. I honestly thought it was pretty straight up and easy to beat.
To me the loops from last year are a glitch. Having the mlb come unblocked while only rushing three total since they would drop the defensive tackle in coverage, that was a joke.
You really only need three routes on the field to beat mid blitz. A slot streak to pull the deep blues if they are on the field along with a drag and a slant. If there are no deep blues you can just free form the streak every time assuming they user or zone up the drag and slant, but that isn’t likely either.
Of course corners and table routes as well.

I don't believe this is true that they could fix it. The speed boost is caused by the engine the game is on and how the players move. The boost only happens when cards hit certain thresholds that break the engine where it cant keep up with the tracking. I dont think they will be changing the engine the game is built on and this will almost certainly be in the game next year.

Hopefully it is not back, but with that being said the run game should be more explosive without the speed boosting. Pass coverage should be amped up big time and non speed boosting runs should be way more effective.
I remember playing football games where it was a chess match loading up to stop the run by taking guys out of coverage, but the coverage was solid if it was there. That is what the game should play like.

Unfortunately, this is the only correct reaction/response -- this is an objectively not good game and EA has been phoning it in for years. Low effort, high volume -- they've got this down to a science. They've managed to use less employees to now crank out two fatball "simulation" games in a single calendar year, neither of which is particularly good... but folks had to wait ~15 years for CFB to return, so a lot of us are having to relearn the same difficult lessons right now.
And our new Saudi / Kushner overlords will only serve to hasten the demise of this once great and storied game franchise. John Madden must be rolling in his grave.

Video games are just a cesspool now.
It is not easy, but the right thing to do is accept the fate of the hobby all of us on here greatly enjoyed and move on.

I am completely in agreement. Run game should be more effective vs Dime. Zones need to react better and take better angles. I still feel like the chess match is there, but you have to know the adjustment to stop whatever rpo/hb direct/etc play and then be able to actually get the adjustment off if it's complex. I am 44 and have been playing Madden for 30 years. I just cant do the adjustments as quick as I needed to be competitve.

I was forced to play that way briefly while trying to farm DRC during the miserable Sugar Rush CPU Event grind, twenty long-ass games, my goodness... i wanted to blow my brains out after calling RPOs on every single snap (because we'd lose points if we ran the ball, so the game basically forced us to play liek an asshole or take a bajillion more hours to suffer through and complete that nonsense). I fully understand that winning is fun and cures basically everything, but the way these kids contort themselves into pretzels ensuring that they never have to actually play the game is truly something special. My pain threshold prevents me from devolving into a one-play pussy. If it weren't so damn cheesy i'd almost respect their dedication to remaining terrible at Madden.
+1 for tagging EA's "physics" (appropriately) in quotes. Cannot believe we're still forced to deal with this uhhh PS3 era Frostbite 3.x game engine. I'll never forget one of the early MCS tournament streams, where the announcers could barely contain their surprise and had to ramble about how the speed boost was a feature and not a glitch or bug or unintended consequence, my goodness. Late in the 4th quarter, dude has the game in the bag, punts the ball away with a lead... only to give up a punt return for a touchdown, because dude speed boosted his way to glory.
How do folks play this game for actual money? Could you imagine being on your way to winning ~fifty grand, only for the game to bend you over and stick it to you, without lubricant? Yikes.
For the time being, i'm still having fun enjoying squads sessions with the boyz, but i've seriously had to adjust my approach to this objectively not good game. Remember when EA touted that uhhh "read and react" defense stuff, where if the opponent called the same play over and over, our defenders were allegedly supposed to recognize the repeated play calls and respond accordingly? It almost certainly existed a decade (or more) ago, perhaps was re-introduced in Madden 24(ish) although i could be way off on that. Imagine if the headline "new" features even worked at a most basic level, gosh that'd be dreamy.
