...like pirouettes when catching passes out of the backfield?
Happens to the best of us…except our opponents of course.
Anyone who claims there is something to fix this is just lying, it’s just animation RNG.
My best tip is to avoid breaking anything of monetary value when the going gets tough.

What amazes me is that I literally do not see those things happen to my opponent in games I lose. It's like they flip heads four or five times, and for me, it's tails, tails, tails.
Terrible, terrible animations. Can't throw with anticipation like you can in the league, because receivers randomly don't cut. 99 route running... what's that?
pass leading can help - play around with it, see what gets you the animations you like, but I pass lead every pass

is pass lead a setting?

hot route right stick up for players coming out of the backfield…this creates a similar route/antigravity away from the defenders as the nasty bunch x route that people enjoy

No, like the thing you do with your stick to influence the direction of a pass. Freeforming is the setting around it, but it’s essentially just increasing the direction. If all you’re trying to do is get a good RAC animation, you don’t need to worry about a Freeform usually

Oh, OK. Thanks, I just use old school passing.

You can Pass lead on classic - if you’re just hitting the button without using the left stick, (I said right accidentally earlier) then you’re going to get bad animations

OK, yeah.. I just hit the button and hope for the best. Brady doesn't lead the WR that good sometimes. I've never tried that before. What are the steps? Push up stick and then pass?

Basically push the left stick in whatever direction you want the pass to go. Out cut to the right, press out cut receiver button then right stick right for a rac lead, left for more of a behind him possession catch
The opposite applies

ok, thanks. My stick skills are limited. I will have to practice it.

Basically. Test in practice mode, push the left stick where you want it to go, and then hit the button
