so i have a friend who is ranked 244 and he has the top 100 icon next to his name w a score of 5955 and i have another friend ranked 3135 with a score of 3480 and ranked only in champion.
When the season starts, 3200 gets you top 100, as time progresses the points twitter for top 100 goes up. So what you're seeing makes perfect sense. At the end of it all, only true top 100 get the reward whether you have the icon or not.

This guy is proof that's not true tho...he was def outside top 100 on xbox

I don't have enough info to verify that claim. I just know what Ea has said in emails to me on how this works. It's supposed to be Top 100 at the end of the season. They did lock things today because of ranked rewards and Auction so your buddy could have benefitted from a glitch here.

you can ask him on xbox, i messed up hiding his name. i am 100% sure he was outside top 100 so not sure how he sent me that pic and why he would go to trouble to lie
