There are two gens in this game: next-gen (being slow) and old gen (being fast). I find it funny that we complained about zones then and zones now that they pretty much told us to do it ourselves cause we can't really appease your satisfaction with the game.
This was also the game that started Introducing zone drops which ended up getting ddos by every person comp or casual because every play was a cover beater or the zone drop was not following the long post route on 25-30 flat drops.
As far as the menu's go we still have this issue of crashes when releasing content hence they made an executive decision to release it so late in the afternoon cause 10:30 drops cause non-stop glitches in their game.
legends we're way better than this madden in this game tho since we keep losing a lot of rights to the most popular players of the sport.
The interactions between the receiver and DB's were horrible. they wanted you to trot out OOP Players and 6'6 and above guys to dunk on your DB's so bad that at one point you could have had randy,calvin and plax during most feared and just held Y the entire time.
The 100 stats deal that everybody had a craze over years back was probably the dumbest point that has been crossed in madden history cause nothing was different about it from 95- 120 in terms of forcing fumbles and other stats along that realm.
Run game and d-line push/sheds has gotten progressively slow
Too many abilities to fix SIMPLE mechanics.
Fix the Latency EA. can't keep the game running if I can't load up 80 games in a day and playing jimjim98’s afghanistan connection multiple times.
Madden 21 was dominated by having a super QB manipulating mid reads,deep halves, and purples so bad that EA brung out spongebob squarepants and campbell’s chunky soup stadiums to pat you on the back and say let’s go champ.
