I just beat a top ranked player player in event mode

I cant list people names here (apparently violation of service) - but I hope I never play this person again...it was brutual - not in a challenging way - but super sweaty

I didnt beat them in ranked, it was in the H2H event

They run HB direct every play, with gold border manning to see my run coverage.  Vanguards everywhere, speed boost every play

Have (2) freight train RBs, to counter my momentum shift

They also sub out London Fletcher to counter my Offensive X Factors - Avalanche on every defender possible

They score 1st drive running HB direct every play, but leave me time

I score just before half to tie score

2nd half, I put together a near perfect drive to get in FG range with 20 seconds

 I have ball in FG range...they paused the game (2) times

Then I kept getting notices "your opponents connection is having difficulties" and the game starting lagging  - eventually they got a disconnect loss

They were def trying to dysync me to avoid a loss

.

So after the game, I look up at the ranked leaderboard, and they're 145-0 - probably try the Dsync glitch on games they might lose

Good win!! I struggle having any desire to play that mode cause games like that happen more times then not.

I was at 8 wins

It took like 90 seconds to find opponent

I think they try to match up players who are equal in progress of the event

But I think I'd rather just flip set to make a milly coins, then they to play this event again

We hopfully get draft mode next week - which should be aamzing - hopefully no abilities

Congrats man! It feels so good when you actually have the win count like it’s supposed to.

I’ve had a few opponents that were similar in the events over the last few weeks. Some of the games can be pretty miserable but it’s one of the best feelings when you can grind out the win against them.

On another note I went 25-2 in Ranked this month and got a surprising win against one of the top players on the leaderboards. He was at #2 of the top 100 and his record was 53-1 after I beat him in my 4th “placement” game. I won 14-13 because he went for 2  with under 20 seconds remaining. Currently he’s at #4 in Ranked and has like 200+ wins with only like 13 losses. I doubt I would beat him if we ever matchup again.

Also, I’m currently at 6-0 in the H2H event and I noticed after 5 wins it takes way longer to find a matchup. I’m not looking forward to the next 4-5 games trying to get to 10 wins…

I vote that his 145 wins are deducted from his account, the equivalent in combined earned value in coins and items are stripped from his account, and the sum of his ill-gotten gain is completely awarded to you as compensation.

Hes 145-0 on xbox and his ave game stats show a ton of runs and limited pass yards

If you check the xbox leaderboard, you should be able to tell who they are
