its extra sweaty out there in house rules today now that people know the Lester Hayes can be sold.

here are some strategies i have been using to get thru this quicker.

the first one is concede if you think you are down two scores.   as far as i can tell there is no extra benefit to staying in game and completing; it doesn't look like you get a bonus for playing an entire hald.  even if you concede as long as you have a td/fg and a sack or int you are going to get 25-35pts. i have gotten as many as 35 points in a loss. if yr opponent concedes quickly to you before you have scored you are only getting 50 pts anyway.

sacks and int's give points so it pays to play aggressively

i have started chewing clock from the start in an effort to shorten games.  if you can't stop my run game i am taking it down the field and you will get max 1 possession.  i am costing myself points from a 2nd possible score as I have found the single score win pays about 90 pts.  however, chewing clock is letting me get thru games faster.

3000 more points to go for me.  the content creators are all whingeing that the points payout needs to change as it takes too long and the grind isnt worth it.    i am going to be hella pissed if EA changes this to placate them after i have already played this much.  i do agree that the interim rewards should change but the big prize is lester and the other levels don't really matter.   its a a 3 week program and plenty of time to earn him.  even if you started today you would only need 566 pts a day.

Thanks for this writeup.  I started today and hit it hard since my Comp Pass is done.  I just started Level 4.  With Omaha it's easy to see your opponent's tendencies and hit them with beaters... but I also like to chew clock from the start so I've been running a lot more than normal.

I agree with your first point about conceding early.  The reason this takes so long is that guys are staying in games WAY too long.  I concede if I don't score on my first drive or if my opponent does.  Best to just get onto the next game and an easier opponent.  This is not the place for sweatfests.

I started yesterday and as of today I have a total of 1078 points.  Im confused on one thing and that is what is the total amount of points needed to get Lester Hayes?

I only ask because where it shows points needed in the game above each level has changed on me several times and it's confusing me.  So yesterday it showed 8500 this morning it was 5500 this even showed 7500 and I just got on again and now it shows 10500 each are PP points for the end sequence to get Hayes. No idea why it's changing like that but it's crazy.

Also I did conced from games where I was down two score and a few of those games did not give me a single point and others have its been like hit and miss for me.

Yes, it feels awful. I kinda wish I would’ve bought him for 2 mil. Gonna be a long grind for me since I don’t have a lot of time to play now with my work schedule back to long days until November.
