i think there was a certain day this week you had to log in to "register" for it so that might be why

You just play either the Unreal CPU or H2H event and it counts towards the campaign

Unfortunately, I don't think you do for this campaign. EA tweeted on October 7th that everyone who logged in after then but before UM Pt 2 would be entered into the campaign. I'm guessing because they had to put everyone in divisions before it started.
