Not sure if it’s a hot take or not, but I still stand by it. As of right now, I can safely say I had FAR more fun during/on MUT25, and having also started later in MUT25. Whether it be the higher presence of broken metas or what, I just can’t relive madden 25, even considering MUT25’s bugs…

I still play M25 here and there. It’s such a great game! Way better than M26

Yes it’s the same with Madden 26, but at least in Madden 26 there’s “new features”
As much as everyone hates to say it Madden has improved over the past few years (starting like Madden 20ish), but of course not as quickly as everyone including myself wants.

Up to this point MIT 25 was way better.
Easter promo was a huge mess last year, but All Star Athletes made up for it.
So far, this year has been underwhelming and the constant LTD releases are annoying, not to mention all the players with All Team Chems that were being dropped earlier in the year.
I continued to play MUT25 up until a month or so and this is not a hot take. The gameplay is much better. The only reason I jumped on MUT26 was the content, and even then, it hasn't been all that great. The servers are terrible, and the fact that ability/Xfactors get nerfed after a few weeks also make MUT26 lesser in comparison. No, it is not just "nostalgia ".
I quite enjoy this game but then again I've only been playing 6 months and I don't play the ultra competitive modes like Gauntlet or Ranked.
I've played Fifa most of my life and the one thing I've learnt playing that game is the biggest problem is generally the community themselves.
Broken metas get discovered, shared by content creators, everyone copies it, this leads to everyone hating the game.
Madden 26 didn't have the speed cheat. That alone made Madden 25 better, regardless of refinements, many of which work quite inconsistently, and often not as expected from a football/plain English standpoint.
M23 is goated. I didn't play 24 or 25 (a little at the end of 25). My biggest complaint about M26 is all these abilities. There will be 6 or 7 buckets with 0 ap abilities. That ruined the game for me.
