Is there really any benefit of going 5-0?Ivn past seasons ive gone 2- 3 and others 4-1 and always still end up starting in bronze 1.

I don't have any exact math, but after having played two or three prior cycles of Ranked, I noticed I started in Silver rather than Bronze tier when I went 4-1 in Placement versus 1-4 last cycle. Granted one of those was a disconnect loss, the other my game crashed.
In the grand scheme of things, no it doesn't really matter. Nothing about this game mode is truly competitive. It's basically just a race to see who can play more games in the twenty-eight or thirty day cycle.
I continue to encounter dudes who barely seem to know how to play. We're certainly not playing the same game. I'm trying to play competitive, H2H football, while these asshats are speed running their way to "Ranked" cheese.
In my second Placement game I faced a dude who already was in Gold tier. He had Darnell Washington, but the ENTIRE game he just kept throwing 3 yard Speed Outs and trying to force me to play Hard Flats so he could hit a corner route or some shit. He quickly went up 7-0, as I slowly adjust back to this straight up cheesefest. Fucking Ranked is absolutely miserable with these clowns. Thankfully I ended up winning 21-7. He ran out of time trying to speed out his way to glory. Sorry, Jason Unrated... have you considered trying to git gud? 🧀🤡🧀
