I turned on the game today 9/5/2025 to see that ALL my coins which was OVER a million have been removed and i am BANNED from the auction house. I have done NOTHING wrong. I have violated no rule nor have i EVER used a 3rd party for coins. I have never given coins to others nor traded. I have done NOTHING but what is within the game. I have bought and sold items on the auction house as i and EVERYONE else has done for the ENTIRETY of the Madden franchise. I have simply bought cheap cards and sold them for a higher price as i have always done, COMPLETELY within the confines of the game. Specifically i have been buying TOTW 82's for 33000 and selling them for 39000 THATS IT ! I can ONLY assume this is some kind of technical glitch of a faulty detection method. Does anyone have any advice as EA makes it impossiblt to get results. I have filed an appeal and it says no open cases and it says i have no penalty history.
This happened to me twice in years past. Last year and the year before I made it through with no bans though.
When I was banned both times my story was the same as yours...buying low and selling high. It triggers an auto- ban after whatever mystery threshold I would reach and EA never responded or unbanned me.
I never play the auction house now. It's a shame the way EA treats some of it's customers.
well its awful hard to remain competitive if you dont spend money without being able to use the auction house. I mean buying low and selling high is the very nature of an AUCTION HOUSE. Ive always done this for the entire game franchise. So your saying that you never got unbanned ? i am seeing several other people that have had this happen in the last coupe days
Are you reselling as soon as you are buying?
This question isn't going to help your situation obviously, but curious. A lot of players use the AH and flip every day. Nobody seems to understand how sometimes people will get banned because of automatic triggers in the system
pretty much i buy the card and then re list it but this is what i have done for years
They did me this way twice one year. And I had it overturned twice. Although on the 2nd they kept the coins even though they overturned the ban. Make sure your appeal was addressed to the legal department. You are bound by arbitration which you agreed to when you booted up the game and played it. If you really are genuinely innocent, they should overturn your ban, but there's no guarantee they give you your coins back.
would it suck to lose the coins yes but at least let me use the auction house i can make them back. Thing is i did nothing wrong, at least tell me what EXACTLY i did so i can avoid it. I mean if you cant buy and sell items then whats the point of an auction house. Im not sure what you mean about submitting it to the legal team. I submitted an appeal but its not showing in open cases
I was banned for doing the exact same thing a few years ago. I appealed and got unbanned after 9 days. I believe what triggered my ban was using the companion app and listing multiples of the same card at one time. I think it causes their algorithm to trip and auto ban people. It's not against the rules at all but the bans still go out. Were you by any chance using the companion app?
no i was on my PS. I didnt even snipe a bunch yesterday. I was buying TOTW 82s at 33K and selling at 39K thats it. Soeveryone should be aware

So how come everyone doesn’t get banned? Buying low and selling higher has been a thing forever in mut. I do it all the time and never got banned.

wish i could tell you man. I have been banned a few times falsely and then EA unbanned me after looking into it. Sometimes they just don’t care and don’t investigate it
it can happen and it definitely does happen. Could happily share all my credit and debit card transactions when i was banned and you wouldn’t see a single transaction related to MUT
How the F we can get ban for selling cards in the price range EA determined themselves is beyond me ! How can it be against TOS when you think about it. What are the rules? The price range is not the rule?
from what i understand from other things i have read is there is some sort of glitch in their automated system. AND NO i did not buy coins elsewhere for this exact reason. That and i just cannot afford to buying coins at all which is why i use the auction house. Now i did buy and sell a lot of those TOTW cards last week and this week but thats ALL o have done
