Edge threat or DON

Wondering which you guys use?  finally got some solid pass rushers on my NMS team and wanna use the better ability.  Thanks in advance!

DON worked for me but it doesn't trigger consistently. you also have to sub out the player or switch formations to get a sub to manage PR points. 
 

id only use DON if discounted 

They patched ET but not sure if it is noticeably better now.

would it be wise to use defensive rally if I was going to use don?

You can try DR, but it wasn’t very helpful when I used it, especially on long drives.   

in a perfect world, you would have  Armstead with  1 AP DR and LT with 2 AP DON. Otherwise, 5 AP would be way too expensive for these kind of abilities 

this all assumes you’re using 4 linemen

I haven't tinkered or tested much yet, but it seems with the new fatigue penalties for D-linemen / blitzers, it's going to make abilities even less important on D-line, as we'll need to constantly be subbing these players in and out all game.

Again, don't take anything i'm saying as absolute fact, as i need to dive in and see how things work out in actual full game scenarios, but the quick Solo Battles i tried were causing my Aaron Donald to get tired and subbed out regularly.  I'm not sure how to approach this, but i think this will place further emphasis on DBs.

KOs, KOs, KOs is what my personal recommendation would be.  YMMV.

It doesn't do much.  I labbed it, so did a lot of streamers. ETE didn't get to the QB any quicker than anyone else on the D line. Totally not worth the AP.. DON.on JJ for 1 AP is a much better discount. 0 AP.interior threat on Donald.also..DOZKO for 2 AP.on Tatum is better..etc

The amount of bad throws it causes alone is worth the 2 AP

ETE doesn't do anything dude. They said they buffed it but it plays the same as before. 

Go look at GutFoxx's video about the patch today where he puts ETE on Suggs and he.puta no abilities on the rest of his D line (including.90.OVR Zach Tom) got there before Suggs with ETE

It does nothing unless you add DON also

It causes interceptions from bad throws for me. Edge threat and under pressure for 2 AP is a steal imo. I’m 50/50 Ravens. Maybe because I’m on ps4 but he causes pressure inaccurate every game.

To be fair he ran like 3 plays and called it. Not the most in depth testing. 😂

I’ve been using it on Watt and it‘s certainly better than before the patch. Worth it over a KO? That’s debatable. For me I’d spend 2 AP on ETE before 1 on ET, just to get the easy picks it causes.

He's not the only one who labbed it and I did as well.. but if it works for you,  great.  If your looking for it to cause bad throws you could just use "Under pressure" instead though,  right? 

TBH Donald still gets more pressure  forme than my edge rushers. He's the only player on my team below 94, and he's my best pass rusher LOL
