Did EA Just Close the Auction House to Sell More Crystal Packs?

So there's been two answers like this. I don't understand the acrimony. We've been given no explanation by EA as to why they did this. Did I really go that far out of bounds by asking this question?

It's pretty messed up for people who listed auction w low starting bids

Rumor is it was closed due to the glitch to where you bought a card and your coins would double . Zirksee posted a video talking about this

I mean imagine how much money EA would make if there is no more AH. They ditched the trade block a while back. Let's burn it all and you have to buy packs til you get the card you want😂

Sometimes I wonder if programmers deliberately poison their code to hold their past programming for ransom if they get cut from a job before a date where they can otherwise quietly apply a fix.[/conspiracy]

I wouldn't doubt it. Same way some car mechanics have deliberately messed with other parts of a car to make sure customer comes back with new issues

Back in the day the guy who did the artwork for Santa on coke bottles got fired, knew he was getting fired in advanced, so he made the reindeers eyes bulging out that was directly in front of santa to make it look like, well you know, and it didn't get caught until it hit the shelves. lmfao
