You should try 96 Walter Payton
Johnny Football
Milroe
Steve Young
RG3
Walt
Boomer
Stafford
Still using Vick (on Eagles TT). He is very quick so can run with him if need be and I actually like his throwing form alot so I do not use alot of abilities on him (Just quickdraw and sideline deadeye with Pro Reads as an XF - total 4 AP). You can get him for near his QS value of 350k or he will be either a very cheap or free rental. Only downside is that his HR speed is average. I did try GF Field General Lawrence and 93 Honors Stafford. Both have fairly quick HR calling, especially Stafford with a good throwing motion and better cheap abilities (esp Bazooka on Stafford that starts on), but I miss the speed on Vick even though I do not run often with my QB and I find no difference in accuracy with any of the three.

Ive been waiting for a GF Lawrence co sign. Im gonna try him out and try to move that 7 AP on Vick around the o line.
got no complaints with Milroe
Milroe and RG3 are probably the best atm (excluding Lamar). We are getting Cam next week so that card will likely be stacked

Milroe seems to be one of the, if not the best, QB and I hate facing him. However, the real problem is that he costs real $$$$. Personally, I hate the idea of giving more $$$$ to EA beyond the cost of the game, but would really hate to pay for a player that once he gets outdated, which will always happen 1-3 weeks after he is released, and not even be able to get Madden coin back for him. Unless a single player is exceedingly fun (at this time, I would only put that label on HB Vick) or boosts the team in other ways (e.g., Crystals), I always try to sell them before they devalue to much or while I still can make a profit off of them. The problem with Milroe is that he will give you a lot of fun for a few weeks but then will be a total loss. At least in the past, the Combine Program usually will be the point that we get the big upgrade in QB and offensive line players so at that point (or even now) we should be thinking about selling these players unless they are either free/bnd or, like Vick, QS for a similar value that they are worth.
I sort of like the Ultimate Upgrades because, correct me if I'm wrong, they were originally 85s and now there's some 87s, and I think we'll continue to see some throughout the seasons with potential overall bumps too, and I assume (since I haven't powered down Milroe since I got him) that I can just take the token when I am I done and put it in a different or newer player, so it could potentially be fulfilling a different need later which is more value than typical card lifespan. To your point though, I do agree that the predatory money tactics of EA are despicable, and showing face a lot this year, but I am not going to sweat a few bucks here and there
