Best in game settings for pass game?

Having trouble w qb overthrows and leads what are the most user friendly setting as far as reticles and passing tool goes?

Henry and JonBeast, two of the best Madden players in the world use Placement & Accuracy. Small. Henry's speed is 7. Jon uses 17. I find 7 better though.

Idk I’m on small but it just doesn’t seem like you get enough of a pass lead with it. I understand you risk over throws going higher but it is getting annoying when your receiver beats his man on a post route and you throw it and the defenders still catches up to cut under it and pick the ball. Just doesn’t seem to give enough lead out with the ball on some throws with small.
