If you have the time and effort to play offline, the CPU event isn’t a bad way to make coins.
The best way to make coins is to flip on the auction house but that also takes time and effort.
If neither of those are a possibility for you, I would recommend trying to finish out all your solo challenges and field passes (by completing the weeklies and specific program objectives, you don’t need to fully max them out) and you can make a couple hundred thousand by doing so.

At this point you just need to grind, gets packs and sell every card that you don't need for sets.
You can spend hours trying to flip cards on the AH, or spend that time grinding.

offense is cake, defense just go for hit sticks or mid blitz to get fumbles on QB

Oh is this the event that was the same as early access where the game will start like 50 to 0 and you have to force turnovers to steal points?
