Best 95 and 98 BND from ASA sets?

There's about 24 hrs left for ASA sets, and I'm looking for opinions on the best picks for 95 and 98 ovr. I can make one set for a 98 BND and one for a 95 with the cards and tokens that I have.

As a new season 7 FTP, and I don't have many other resources or good players yet. I'm looking for cards that will age well long term, and stay in my lineup no matter who I get. 

Question #1: If I add a BND 98 onto a not-BND 95, will the resulting 98 card be BND? 

If I can, I'm thinking of selling the new 98 and spreading the value out across positions or putting it towards Easter. Is this a good idea?

Question #2: If I can't sell, what 95 and 98 are the best, in a vaccuum? 

I have seen good things about DT Allen, HB Henry, both Ants, and both Megatrons. Ant seems to be the most future proof, since he gets all chems. But the others look cracked too.

Here's more details on my team for those who can give specific answers:

• I have freebie pack 95's of MLB Buckner (2x), MLB Peppers, WR Too Tall, ROLB Henry, and QB Sanders, all BND. 
• I have grinded for, but haven't turned in, RR and UL tokens. I have been playing season 7 and have AD, Hutch, Matthews, and Gates from that. But I haven't built anyone past 93 ovr. Lineup is otherwise mostly rando 89-93s.
• Otherwise I have about 40k coins and 30k training. I'm still grinding challenges to get more.

Any opinions appreciated!

Once you upgrade any card, BND or not, the upgraded item becomes BND. If the upgrading card is not BND, and you later remove it, it will remain not BND.

The second question will take a little more time to answer.

For the second part, if both Buckners are BND, you can quicksell one for training now. Keep the others around, as they're all good items when upgraded, and they'll probably still be solid in June or July, a time when the 98's will be much more affordable.

This past week is when I began to break from team chemistries, although I have a 50/50 Cowboys lineup with 20/50 Packers and 15/15 OOP All-Star Crew. I wouldn't weigh chemistries in too heavily unless you end up with a significant amount of coin to spend. At this point, a "goon squad" will get you more mileage for the coin. Even if you went for chemistries, when so many attributes are at 99 or close to it, adding more has negligible effect or none at all. That said, with all of the players that provide any one of the NFL Team chemistries, it's not hard to boost key players if you decide to.

For longevity, I like Larry Allen. Either of the DT or RG are really strong items that would hang around on many teams for the remainder of the year. Some of the other folks here will have some valid reasons to go with one of the other pairs. Any RG with all of Secure Protector, All Day, and Post Up for 0 AP is automatically base-level end-game, and Allen still has a couple more 0 AP selections available in a tier 2 and tier 3 bucket.

There is a caveat: EA has been really off with their power creep mechanisms this year. Usually the creep is gradual. This year, you'll get incremental creep for weeks, and then the whole environment will surge forward. It did first with Team Diamond back in November (but it didn't really affect the broader player environment since the individual items were so costly), then again in December with Zero Chill (before it reverted before mid-January). NFL Combine took a huge jump forward (and this is widely thought to be an administrative mistake by EA that allowed too many upgraded NFL Combine players to be in one lineup), and the latest All-Star Athletes surpasses NFL Combine handily for the most part. For that reason, we don't know what to expect from upcoming programs like Sugar Rush, Reel Deals, or Theme Team All-Stars (or whatever that will be called this year).
