It seems that the standard approach for the 'Tis the Dang Season H2H event is to go all offense or all defense, but mostly the former. When I kicked off and the guy marched in clock-eating fashion toward my endzone, I didn't know that I would end up going up 8-7 after my drive. With 2:30 left to play, he tried to lean into RPO Alerts for cheap yards, and I got a swat. Although it appeared to be a forward pass, the game charged him with a fumble, and I recovered. He quit after I rushed in for a touchdown.

I don't like having to commit to stopping trash like this, but it's fulfilling to get a win in this event after losing more than ten-straight in head-to-head over the last week-and-a-half.

Grats, dude.  Clutch victory, glad you got that turnover.  I started seeing dudes using 3 high end defense cards, plus a QB -- i've gone with a somewhat more balanced attack, two high end players on either side of the ball, but it's remained a bit of a struggle.  I can't seem to even get three wins in a row, let alone the 8? or however many that are required to get Charvarius Ward.  Oof.  Was fairly time consuming to build a squad out of binder trash for this specific event.
