Well, that is how it works. The answer is to wait it out. No one is making anyone click Buy Now.

is it how it works though? cards lose value over time because they drop new cards, and redux happen. i can see the price trends of cards on this site. I dont see a single card, even the most rare cards going up in price over time. there isnt a single example of that happening?

people don't even know how to work filters and you're talking about strange posting behaviour. almost every card i sell below an 88 overall i list for more than the lowest priced card and i sell about 95% of the cards i list on the first run

There are literally dozens of items that end up costing more in the short term than they do on release day. Use this site to view especially the price histories on a broad number of LTD's. While some drop in value from day one, all LTD's will generally be around for no less than two weeks before there's the threat of an imminent Redux release.
If someone is listing a single item where one hasn't been one listed for a while, high pricing should be expected.
Also, unfortunately, PC Auction House pricing is its own beast. It does have some idiosyncrasies that distinguish it from xBox and PS5. Having a smaller pool of users does create issues with Auction House activity and pricing.

I hear you, and I understand what youre saying. I think I maybe didnt get my point across with the original post. Why are they posting the cards for a price they dont sell at is my question lol They WILL NOT sell. they do not sell, historically. we have the data. My question is really whats the purpose of listing something at a price we have proof that it wont sell at. like why would you boot up your game and go through this shit ui every 24 hours to list a card, when it will absolutely never sell.

Believe me, sometimes they sell. When a basketball player has to chuck a shot from deep inside their side of the court, it is desperation. On the other hand, you have the axiom, “You miss all of the shots you don’t take.”
Again, keep an eye on this site’s listings for items. You’ll see a bunch go for 35k, and then one comes off for 190k. Maybe they thought they were looking at champions and not heroes, or maybe their brain glitched for a moment, or maybe they got distracted but kept clicking. The fact is that some items do sell. While some listings are dubious, they do at times get bought.
Supply and demand my friend.

Sounds like someone is taking advantage of the situation which is smart on their part.

Look at the price history for crystal saquon, there is your example
It’s a good way to get an auction house ban.

we have the data for every sale made. it doesnt work that way. it didnt sell, and is now posted for 800k less, and still wont sell. my friend
I notice people will randomly list outragous prices
Like 600k for an 86 OVR
I think they are hoping someone mis reads the price, thinking its 60k instead of 600k
Or if they use the newest filter, they could accidently click a card quick hunting for snipes

You are missing the point. If there's only 1 person selling something, they can set the price because there is no competition. If they were desperate for coins and wanted to make sure it gets sold they obviously they would lower the price.
