“Agging” needs to be nerfed

I can’t even say how much times I have gotten agged when the corner just stands there and watches the ball

Especially on a under thrown go ball, I try to switch onto the deep corner to make a play, and I’m stuck in glue

Or when someone tall is between 3 corners and still catches it

It’s not as bad/op in 23 or whatever madden that was, but at least let me move my corner on a go ball and make a play

It’s unfortunate cause the only way EA would know how to fix agging (as they cannot figure out how to make the animations work smoothly) would be to increase the knockout chance which would carry over to every other type of catch and then we’d be back to receivers dropping balls when they are open and get touched after like 2-3 steps.

Honestly I’m ok with where it’s at. It’s not as bad as CFB cause the DB can actually pick some of them so I only seen it once, maybe twice, a game. Which can be frustrating but it hardly ever determines outcomes cause if they do it consistently you will get interceptions.

Don’t really want EA to go around tweaking stuff when this is the most fun I’ve had with madden in years.

This is one of my biggest issues with the gameplay rn. Will have a defender in perfect position and he just gets posterized by the receiver. Shouldn’t need an ability for a covered pass to be broken up.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. It’s exactly like madden 16, swat is the counter to aggressive catch. Stop trying to get picks, you’ll just give up the catch.

It should be somewhere in the middle. I've had 4 defenders (2 of them users) and 2 CPU not break up a pass to the receiver, which shouldn't even be possible.

But also don't want it like last year where your 4-5 steps away and the ball gets dropped because the defender lightly brushed passed you.

I also hate when your in position to try and jump the route but your db catch animation suddenly puts u behind the reciever and he catches it instead lol.
