He’s the welcome pack player. There will be upgrade tokens you can earn through the pass and challenges to get him to 97.

It doesn’t look like it will be a fantasy pack. It appears to be a choice from 3 cards:
1 random offense
1 random defense
1 random specialist
Waiting until next week could be great if you have good luck. If you have bad luck it could net half the coins you might get doing it early tomorrow.
I generally have bad luck so I will take my chances tomorrow (and still probably get the worst 3 cards).

Not worth 65 Tokens.
The card takes more that 2 and a half amount of tokens as the upcoming 97 UL, Collectors, Flashback. With just 10 more tokens you get 3 97's vs 1 97.

My thing is what if the cards that come out next week are even better.. If I spend my tokens tomorrow, I'll have zero tokens left for next week lol

The big advantage, I believe, is that you can auction the TOTY player while otherwise your choices are BND. Personally I rather have the coin/auctionable player.

100% agreed with this set its always best to wait for all the players so that way you at least have a chance to pull one you truly want.Its 100% what imma do with this set.

Unfortunately, it's not a fantasy pack with a choice of any player. It is a choice between a random offensive, random defensive, and random special teams player. So if you actually want to spend the 65 tokens on this set or already have, and there's a player you really want in the first release, definitely redeem the set this week. Otherwise, your chances of getting that player are pretty much cut in half when the second release is added to it.

Disagree with this take. What happens if you wait and you pull a first week card that you don't want? They're now worth 25% less than they would have sold for if you opened it week 1. If pulling the card is important to you I guess that's a thing, but it increases your chances of losing coins. If there's a player you have to have, you just buy him using the coins you made by selling the card you pulled this week.
