Is there a place to find the previous day's griddy answers? i swear i have the right answer for most squares so i'd like to see what the actual answer was. today was a good example - CB and Edge for TOTW and most feared seem like easy things to look up and i had them all wrong.
It's not posted because there are always many combinations. When you say you had them wrong, what do you mean?

at the end you get something that shows stars and green blocks. My assumption is that the stars I got right like the lowest rated possible player. and the green boxes mean that I got a player that qualifies but not necessarily the lowest rated

While I can't share how the scoring works, I can share that is not correct. Which is why there is no single correct answer for playing, and thus no answer key posted. Lower OVRs do score more points.

I would have to see what you were trying to submit to know what the exact issue was but remember, when you need a specific program, you need the player's item from that program for it to count.
As for the answers, we do not keep track of previous griddy puzzles but if you'd like to see all possible answers for that day's puzzle, load up the daily griddy puzzle in a new window and click "give up". You will then see all of the answers that would work for each square.
As for the stars and green boxes, both represent correct answers. However, stars are shown for 75 OVR and lower answers, which give a higher score than an answer with a higher OVR.
I hope that helps answer your questions!
ahhhh this makes all the sense in the world about the squares and stars - i was taking it that the stars were the absolute lowest rated player for that square. truly appreciate the response!
