Aggressive catches are so popular because you either catch the ball, or the ball bounces harmlessely to the turf. The risk vs. reward isn't balanced because DBs rarely will catch a tipped pass unless Tip Drill or Pick Artist is equipped. Pick Artist is the better ability, but Tip Drill is still great, especially if you can equip it for 0 AP.
