How much does o-line matter?

How much does o-line matter? I'm building up a Bills theme team, but I've been using some non-Bills in positions like o-line because there are no good options.

Team builders gave me 88ovr, Ryan Bates (RG) and Jon Feliciano (C). How much worse off would I be if I add those two and replaced my current starters? Current starters: 90 Kevin Zeitler (RG) with 1ap Post Up and 90 Creed Humphrey (C) with 1ap Secure Protector

Am I taking a big step down by getting rid of 2 ovr on each and their discounted abilities? Or is the change not too significant?

(I already have other Bills players in the backup slots to pump numbers up)

With the blitz meta, very important for being able to pick the blitzes up and give you time. I think the bigger sacrifice is the cheap AP abilities youd be losing rather than the attribute downgrades as those are some of the best OL abilities And abilities run the game this year.

I figured that the abilities were going to be the big issue. It's a shame these team builders don't come with a little extra something. Bills o-line is atrocious in this game and it would have been nice to get a little closer to 50/50. Not sure what the point of these cards are if they can't be reasonably used.

I agree with WenersBerner, overalls aren't nearly as important as having discounted abilities for your oline. Upgrading your oline doesn't matter as much once you hit the thresholds for the important oline ratings.

they’re really just set foughter/ TT roster fillers. my chiefs TT only RT was a gold but we got 88 Wylie and hes bad so im sticking with Wirfs 90 OVR as a filler. My buddy has a bills team too i know they been dying for OL and this TB drop aint the best lol

Tackles matter i don’t think that you need good guards and a center as long as you get the 1 ap EP your good

it matters enough for me to get EP/SP on tackles and SP on Center

Yes they matter and most important abilities because abilities are broken
