It is one heck of a grind to get that Elway

Wow, I mean, I had 13mil coins and 1,500+ cards in my binder and it took me 4+ hours (on and off) to build 1/4 of the sets. And there are some sets that I have almost no cards left for. I kept Metzelaars, Glover (who didn't play so great), and Boselli, sold the others.

It's a lot of time involved even if you have a coin stack and cards.

It’s ridiculous how hard they made the master to get this year . I have the coin but im not spending the time done on those ridiculous sets , and no way in hell I’m spending 10 million on one card .

You can build each set, sell most of them and be just fine with coins. I started with 13 mil, kept 3 out of 9 and I am basically breakeven where I started...I also used up a lot of cards that were in my binder but I had to buy at least half the cards and in many cases 2/3 of the cards that go into the set. And some sets are glitched where you have to keep exiting the set and go back into it to see which cards you need to buy...SUCH a long time to complete each one.

Would never spend 10 mil on Elway but was hoping I'd be able to get him in a short time, by doing the sets....I am gonna have to spend a lot of time buying specific cards, building sets......a LOT of time.

Yup, im sure its tough, im having fun just trying to get 3 of the team diamonds just on their own, i thought i was gonna be prepared getting the core elites and golds from all 3 of the teams but nope ea had to be jerks and throw in campus heroes ultimate kickoff and team affinity cards into the mix and throw a wrench in my plans, so im still not gonna be able to complete those 3 for a bit let alone doing 32 sets for elway

Yeah what they should have done was release bundles with those CH, UK, TA cards with the release of TD that u can buy with money or coins, and a training option for certain OVR cards (87+, include core elite, and special promos like headliners, uk, etc)

So I am lucky enough to have a bunch of the cards that go into the sets and also a coin stck so I can build a couple before the ones I am not keeping sell. I should probably only be keeping maybe 4 or 5 of these TD cards....maybe one or 2 more, since MF Part 2 is awful IMO.. But with that, I can build the other teams at almost a breakeven I think as long as I can sell these TDs at a decent price

Yeah, im a rams TT so i was just focusing on the 3 with rams chem so I technically have the cards for the carter set i would just have to dismantle my team but id rather not…..i’ll get the coin to complete em eventually

Finished earlier today, I sold 28 out of the 32 to break even. So I got a new LT, RT, CB, TE and Elway for zero coin.  Didn't really have anything in my binder to start either.  I just spent about 2 mil the night before buying what I thought might be in the sets.

Sorry, but there is zero chance you kept Elway and broke even.  Not even close to being possible.

LOL, not sure what to tell you. I started with 7.2 million. When I finished I am back to 7 Million and added Elway, Rolle, Boselli, Anderson and Metzelaars to the team. The only cards I sold during that time besides the team diamonds I didn't keep were my old QB(Culpepper), old RT(Packers Legend) and my old CB(Gilmore).  I couldn't sell casper and I had been using the most feared LT.

There are 3-4 factors that make that impossible but I’m not here to argue.   I will point out that you claim to have built a 6 million coin card and added over another million on TD players and made all that coin back (7 million) by selling (maybe on a good day) 1.5 million worth of players…

I‘m no mathematician, but that is amazing.

We had the time where they took down the sets and all TD went up massively, so that could help make money back. As of now i think very difficult…

Yeah, its not possible to do what I did now. I did it all in the first day and unfortunately had sold them all before the sets got taken down. Still though many were selling for 700k plus in the first few hours of release.

Thinking about it ht do you reckon was the average cost of building ? I was thinking mybe around 500k which is a lot with some now barely selling around 300k.
