I’ve Been playing since madden 15 and mut since madden 16 and made legend in h2h seasons in 3 of those so i think I should be able to tell yall some useful tips
offense scheme
one of the most important things for being good online is your scheme if you run a hail Mary every play your not gonna win. but a really big thing about your scheme you have to use what your comfortable with if you can’t run the ball don’t use a run based offense I personally have always used a run and gun offense so I typically will always be in gun or single back you have to use something you like
defensive scheme
one thing that I always see online when I’m on offense is people don’t adjust if your running blitzes and there dotting you up you have to adjust you can’t stay in that defensive go to a cover 3 or a cover 4 maybe a double enable you always have to be mixing it up and showing them different looks
Team building
You have to use a team that fits your scheme if you love using read options you can’t use joe Montana if your a pocket passer you cant use Mariota on defense if you run man you cant use kair Elam if you love passing to your running back use a mccaffry over a bettis
mentality
what I’ve found over the years is that if you can get a your opponent frustrated it’s a lot easier to get a int so you can’t get frustrated you have to have a next play mentality if you give up a lucky touchdown instead of lobbing one up for a easy pick you have to forget and score one of your own you can’t let one showboat get to your head stay focused and go get one of your own
conclusion
no matter how good you are the goal is to have fun if your favorite team is the jets and you want to use there theme team even tho it’s worse then your team now if brings you more fun then go use it
