mut ain’t the same

feel like this game is dying tbh. theres no ways for casual players to make coins like previous years. every new player that comes out is 500k. the new legends are 1 mil each. comp pass either doesn’t work or the rewards are useles. just sad.

Yes there is. Flip cards. Thats the only way to ever make coins. Prices are more expensive with everyone pulling plat cards at the beginning of the year and getting better at flipping. New cards are always expensive but doesnt mean you have to use them or have them. Wait a program or two and theyll be cheaper. 

I had only a few problems with comp pass but they were fixed when they rolled out rewards and havent had a problem since.

Most videos on MUT involve coin methods.. like what?? I did not purchase this game to spend more than half my time on the menu screen, I might as well play Tetris.

Agreed. I only play a couple of nights a week, have a busy job and a family so this is a hobby for me, not a second job.

it’s not even an EA thing, it’s a Madden thing. In FIFA ultimate team it’s easy to get packs and coins from PLAYING GAMES. Crazy.

I mean you can still play the game and rip packs and play solos or whatever but youre not going to have a top of the line team. You can still play with an average or below average team.. You either put the time and or money in to get the best of the best or you roll with the punches and be a program or two behind when better cards come out to drop out other cards.

I dont play AH myself except for the beginning of the year but I have at least 500k-1m all the time. I save packs for the big drops (Halloween/Christmas/Easter/GT) and save coins. If I do the sets and sell the master for cheap upgrades I do that as well.

I def understand the point of not having a second job on it but now a days thats any live service/BP games these days. I have 3 groups of friends that play Destiny, Fortnite, and Madden. They all are live service/BP so you have to spend your time wisely to reap the most rewards.

Try a different approach. Have fun with playing the game and don't worry about being better or getting the best team. You can make a ton of coins easily. Just need to look at things and really think it over. I personally don't play online games at all. I focus on solo battles and could care less about the free high end card because in two months those cards are useless unless used for training but personally I'm not doing training or rolls. Not worth it. Focus on cheap theam teams. Teams that can boost but you don't need to spend a fortune to help with challenges that are coming up. Sets are good but don't rush doing them. You can make really good coins with some patience.  Example. Buddy of mine is running a full legends team but only with the challenges where you get the power up and the cards to put in the PUP and if he gets a legend in a pack that's needed then he puts it in the set or waits to get one need for cheap. And like me he doesn't do online either. But his team is 86 overall and has over 2 million coins and is a NMS player. He's looks at the game like life. No card is worth over 100k in this game so he grinds and plays just for fun.  So just try doing something different that can give you a different outlook on the game and have fun.

The problem with theme teams is they always lock some players behind LTDs, my Saints team has Ricky Williams and Jahri Evans already. Thats like 1.7m coins for two damn players.

True but in time those cards will come down in price. I would just run the team with the golds or low end elites and not worry about the high end cards. Those cards will get upgraded once again in the near future.
