I'm just gonna take a guess (this is not an official answer) but with the way MHC is being treated by EA right now (which is not good), I don't see why MUT.GG would make a virtual currency.

I definitely think we need this... even if it's just to play Pickem's here (which I hope they add).
Once they have a currency... EA won't be able to stop a market from developing for in game coins and cards.

No plans exist at the moment for a site currency. We're focusing on one thing at a time for now and after the rollout of the compare tool, the focus has shifted to Team Builder.
