(imo) the best theme team in mut

I am here to convince you why the 25/25 cowboys backyard ballers theme team is the best at this point in the year. 

I have 2 main reasons.

Reason one: it gives boosts to meta players on defense like Julio Jones, Jimmy Graham, and Ed Too Tall. On offense, it boosts Ed too tall and dinucci. While it i only 5 players, it moves Julio Jones (assuming you have strat items) from 98 to 99 speed. Jimmy graham? 97 to 98. ed too tall corner gets 99 speed without a theme team but i guess if u don’t have strat items u goes up one speed. Wr ed too tall only gets 99 speed with a cowboys tt. Dinucci gets plus one. Throne is currently using 25 cowboys 25 FALCONS, which boosts the cordarelle cb, cordarelle rb, and julio safety. in my opinion, 25 bb is better because of 6 foot 7 jimmy graham. if you need a budget WR, u can get trevon diggs who will get 99 speed (if you have this theme team) with only one wr strat item.

Reason 2: Very easy to construct. it cost me less than 250k to buy all of the 87-93 ovr bb cards, and 50k to buy cowboys backups. very cheap, and because prices have dropped, it probs costs 200k as of right now. (200k if u already have the dinucci, julio, jimmy graham, etc.)

I think thats a good idea. The hybrid option doesnt give BB a spot so I did it by hand. 

Looks like an easy/cheap team with some great top ends on that.

Maybe a good BUDGET theme team, but not the BEST. The team OVR will be lower and backup positions/special teams will be weaker than many other theme teams. There are a bunch of ways to build 50/25 teams that would beat this team. But also, at this point in the year, definitely just play with the players you like and think are fun. Who cares about the meta GOD SQUAD at this point? It's fun just to create new mixes in hybrid theme teams.

I have 2 main squads... a god squad for when im in a sweaty mood and an OOP TT squad for when im bored as hell. prob gonna use the OOP TT a lot more this week since the schedule is so damn sad

It’s a good team but I don’t think it’s the best team. Washington TT gets Sean Taylor and Ken Houston which I like both better than Julio/Jimmy Graham. Too Tall CB gets all team chems so Cowboys doesn’t make him better and Too Tall WR isn’t the best WR not even with 99 SPD. On the other hand Trevon Diggs is a great receiver for the price and plays great with 99 SPD he just doesn’t hold onto the ball through contact. 
 

P.S. I couldn’t care less about what Throne does.

Too tall is the best wr easy. Undebatable..good points tho, even tho I disagree about the safeties

25/25 Giants and Pats team is the best. There are so many extra slots open for players who aren’t Giants or Pats because the Patriots have so many players with x2 and x3 chemistry.

Sure but no good players are giants or pats that don’t get 99 speed already.

(as in meta dbs or wrs)

50/25s are bad because they have no flexibility. Plus, u don’t need +2 speed this time of year

I actually think doing 25 BB 25 Seahawks would be a better team for you. There are 7 BB cards with Seahawks chem that count as 9 BB chems and 7 Seahawks chems. The only thing you lose is Too Tall WR but Seahawks have Metcalf GT, Josh Gordon GT, Brandon Marshall, and Jerry Rice. Your Julio Jones still gets the same boosts but now Jimmy Graham gets to 99 SPD. Ben Dinucci doesn’t get a the +1’s but they really don’t matter on him anyways and there are better QB’s.

I’m also curious about what you lineup looks like with this? Are you usering Jimmy Graham? I’m getting kind of bored with my God Squad and while I did use a Hybrid BB TT for a long time maybe I will do something with it again for fun.
