I’ve heard people say he’s bad but i was looking to pick him up so that I’d have all GT corners. I have both in the zone strategy cards. He’d be 99 speed and he has amazing BSH and tackling. and he is 6’2. What’s the issue with him? Is it his “plays ball in air: Balanced” trait that makes him unusable?

edit: thanks guys. I was getting some second opinions because I’ve heard on other socials that he isnt that good but his stats and height look fine to me. He probably will be rotational as my CB3 because I use 4 safeties and 2 corners on my defense + a MLB tyreek hill

The only real issue with him is his balanced trait and his lower coverage. I've heard that he's fine to play with. And especially since you have both the CB cards he would be fine. I honestly haven't even noticed a difference based on the traits. So for you, I would go ahead and pick him up.

Alright thanks. I Have a 50/50 saints team but im trying to get as many GT fillers as possible because its the end of the game and ive never used fillers on the team ever, but im just tryna have fun and i didnt play during GTs last year so now im just trying to go crazy with them. probably gonna get Chinn too

Layne is great. THere will be taller/heavier guys but he works great and is cheap.

I’ve had zero problems with Layne.
