What do your d-lines look like?

With everyone basically having secure protector on all of their line, not sure how much of a difference different d-linemen make.   

my setup right now is: 

RE - Howie

DT- Tribute Donald, Sapp

LE - Karlaftis 

dont get much pressure with this group and except for when Sapp has the random shoot of the gap, get ran on somewhat too.

i have momentum shift on Donald, I’m not sure how effective that is either. seems like some games it works, some games it doesn’t. And when it does, he doesn’t charge back up.

I run 2 different lines depending upon situation. For the runners I run 44 with 6 d lineman, 4 ends 2 DTs. DTs have IS and the 4 ends have NO.   

Passing folk I run dime normal, 3 man rush with a spy with my user as the 4th even tho I drop in coverage.   

One colossus (bnd Chris Jones) one UF (bnd aka Madabuik) and one ET (bnd combine newton). I get more sacks than you think, and I stop the run very well. I also move my interior lineman around in these formations so they aren’t subjected to the increasing blocker resistance the game implemented

I run 1 Zone KO, Deep Out Zone KO on Captain Berry at SS. The rest of my D AP goes to run stopping and pass rushing abilities.

Question on the dime, is there a specific play that you like to run out of it? Just curious because that would essentially be a dollar concept if you are moving the user back. I could see where it might clog the zones a little more.

Regular zone and man concepts, I just blitz hot route a slot cb and hover off the edge so I don’t get the 3 man rush penalty. The spy works as an essential short middle zone and I just cover my man or zone after bluff blitzing. I also put Jones in position to be doubled so his ability works and allows a 1 on 1 with either UF Madabuike or ET Newton. 50/50 TT as well

Parsons, Barmore, Donald, Bosa .

 Donald is great with DON, bosa is nice with ETE. Barmore/parsons are solid.

id say try ETE for the increased pressure and occasional free rush. 

also, Rush DT 1 typically gets double teamed less

I really miss not having either (or both) Aaron Donald and William The Fridge Perry.  I've not even once gotten Lawrence Taylor's Momentum Shift to re-activate, two Hit Sticks is a bit of an uphill climb.  At the moment I'm using:

• Lawrence Taylor (RRE) - Edge Threat, LurkArtist, No Outsiders & Secure Tackler
• Christian Barmore (RDT) - Inside Stuff + No Outsiders
• Warren Sapp (RDT) - Inside Stuff + Secure Tackler
• JJ Watt (RLE) - Run Stuffer, Edge Threat Elite & LurkArtist

Due to all the Secure Protectors we're seeing on O-line these days, i've completely revamped my entire defensive philosophy, putting the bulk of my AP into the DBs.  Everyone on the outside has Deep Zone + Mid Zone & Pick Artist, while Slot corners get Mid Zone + Pick Artist.  All three X-factors are Universal Coverages (Nnamdi, Tariq & Troy P.) around the outside, which gives me quite a bit of flexibility to run either Zone or Man.  Derrick Brooks and Bo Jackson are my SUBLB, although that new Jerod Mayo looking pretty fierce.  Sorry getting a bit off topic.  Running hybrid 49ers theme team, so i was trying to pick up Bosa, but got stuck unable to build his set.  Might replace LT if/when that ever happens.

Thank you for the kind words. Merely trying to pay it forward, so many in this great community taught me a ton when I was just starting out. 

News flash, finally figured out the Bosa WW set, so I just swapped out LT for Nicky, he's got No Outsiders & Tackle Supreme for 0AP and fits my theme team. I've only played three H2H games with him thus far, but he's showing up. Perhaps now I can hide LT on the bench and save him to cancel X-factors at least once.
