Who understands team chemistry upgrades?
If I have 37 Steelers and put the Reel Deal Terry Bradshaw in my line-up, should he improve from 98 to 99?

Depends on his attributes. He should with a 50/50, I'd think but who knows when it's 35 (closest tier to 37).

You probably want either 25/50 (+1) Steelers or full 50/50 which will grant the +2 Speed boost, along with other stats to everyone on that theme team across your entire roster.
That OVR rating in the upper corner of the card is literally meaningless. Abilities are absolutely everything and become the primary determining factor for how well a card plays.
Be sure to put the "quad-stack" on Bradshaw or whatever quarterback you end up using:

Be sure to put the "quad-stack" on Bradshaw or whatever quarterback you end up using:
- Set Feet Lead (or Pass Lead Elite) - will dramatically improve velocity of passes, allowing you to fit balls into tighter windows
- Gift-Wrapped
- Gunslinger - improves how quick the ball can come out, will ensure you avoid taking unnecessary sacks
- Hot Route Master - this one might be optional, especially considering how many Apprentice abilities are coming out lately

I agree that the overall rating is meaningless. Bradshaw has played perfectly fine for me, and I am happy using him. I have only used the Blonde Bomber and Vick all year. I am having issues with Vick's accuracy when I play an opponent with a bunch of LTD's. Vick will throw passes way off target for no reason, and he would not release the ball fast enough if any pressure is applied by defenders. I choose a target before pressure is even close to me and it is like he will not throw the ball and defenders will have extra seconds to get to him. The new Bradshaw has a much better release than Vick.
I am sure what you stated is relevant. I have not had the opportunity to put a "quad-stack" on my quarterback because the guys I used do not have all of abilities you listed.
I would like to achieve a 99 OVR Team before the season is over, so that is why I was wondering about him getting bumped up from 98 to 99 OVR?
My line up states 37/40....Tier 7 I believe.
Will quad stacking abilities bump him to a 99? Will adding 3 more players with Steeler chemistry make a difference?

Abilities aren't going to change the magic numbers printed on the top corner of the card, but what it will certainly do is dramatically improve the gameplay of your QB, basically eliminating almost all of the glaring issues you pointed out with your QB, which will be much more impactful to your squad and definitely improve your win/loss ratio, a LOT.
Abilities are the difference between an elite, end-game card and theme team filler. A quarterback without the above ability stack (not counting optional HRM) is borderline unusable, IMO. A good release is also imperative as you have begun to find out.
You'll have no problem getting your Steelers to 99 OVR by summer, especially once we get Theme Team Remix promo. Getting a 99 Punter yesterday definitely helps a ton towards that goal, but I feel liek I'm doing the community a massive disservice by placing any emphasis on a truly meaningless metric. It just confuses players, especially new ones.

Bruh... Gift wrapped in april? I never use since february and i doenst throw an incomplete pass..

I am 💯% serious. Unless you tell me you really need that extra 1AP to round out your O-line with a fifth Secure Protector, that might be the only acceptable excuse to not run Gift-Wrapped. What other abilities on offense would or should you prioritize over pass catching?
This has absolutely nothing to do with stats, because April or anything else. The game is a buggy ass mess and requires abilities to catch passes on BOTH sides of the ball. Not having Gift-Wrapped is akin to not having Pick Artist on your DBs. Sure you can do it, but the game simply plays better with pass catching abilities.
I don't liek it anymore than you do, but GW is absolutely still necessary, in October and November, just as it will remain relevant into April, May & June. Maybe next year, oof.
You play however you want, but yer at a disadvantage without.

How will my team improve if I add 3 more Steelers and get 40/40, Tier 8?
Does that bump up certain attributes?

Yes, but nothing all that meaningful. People try for 25 or 50, because Speed is one of the few stats that truly matters.
You're focused on entirely the wrong things, that OVR number is purely cosmetic.

Just asking because I don't know how it changes stats for some players but not others.
Example: Minkha is a 99 on my team, but Bradshaw is a 98. Both cards are 98 OVR.
I did not know why one gets a chemistry boost and the other didn't?

Im play run heavy with a 97 OVR König Henry field pass card.Need AP for a good O line abilities like all day, nasty streak and puller elite. Gift wrapped doesnt matter over 95 over throwing stats...

I have 52/50 Steelers TT and the Bomber still 98 OVR 😒Try to use QB powered start card and maybe...

Because the attribute pluses you’re getting for Minkah effect him different then Terry. Obviously speed isnt that important to Terry but a +1 or +2 in speed and accel on minkah is gonna make a huge difference on defense so Id assume that’s why there is a difference. If the team chem gave a + to THA or THP type stuff it would effect Terry, look into blue or green strats that help the qb that might put you over the top. If you go to The right side where it says 37, click on where it will show you the boosts you’re getting and you can scroll down to see what the next few tiers would get you if you added more steelers. Hopefully this made some sense
