Question about side accounts/risks of a ban

I set up a second MUT account for my nephew to play on… am I risking a ban to complete ANY auction sales between the accounts? 

I can keep them silo-ed if I must but would be nice to use the auction house to transfer cards between accounts. I am NOT interested in or trying to farm coins but as an example, I’d like to sell my Sb Doug Williams to the account for 100k (basically the going rate) to upgrade my nephews QB or buy the 98 UL pulled on the side account for 410k to put it on my main. Not going to be posting cards for exorbitant prices or anything like that.

How risky is this? Not sure if I’m being paranoid about it or if any activity between accounts is a ban risk. Thoughts?

Yeah definitely risking a ban. What they look for is the same ip address selling or buying from the same ip address

Think about it like this, every single transaction in that market is from one ip to another. So there’s always that line between two different ip’s. When you do what you’re talking about, there’s no line, just one ip period.  So it sticks out like a sore thumb in the list

Now since the TRade block is gone its a slim chance to get banned.I have ran sides for years and never had any issues so play until your Heart desires

I get it. I think it’s silly given the context of what I’m trying to do, but I get it.

If worried about it, list card on your home internet IP. Use companion app on mobile phone data IP on the other account to purchase. Or switch thst around.

I’ve done this several years ago and it definitely worked and still would today. The problem is the shitty companion app,  nowadays you can’t do anything on it.  At least that’s how mine is on an iPhone. Maybe androids version  actually works??

I used to run 3-4 farm accounts and did for a few years, without ever getting caught or banned. RIP trade block. :(  That being said, I have seen a few people on the forums this year saying they had been AH banned or completely banned for what you are talking about. EA has stepped up the greed factor this year in every way possible. TYhe only people that really seem safe from bans, are the Youtubers that spend $1,000's on the game while promoting and working with coin sellers.
