I did that 4 months ago when I found out I was buying a house, getting married and having a honeymoon right after. EA ain’t gonna get a piece of me and I still enjoy this game with a great team.
I remember spending over 2k on Madden 20 and that was fun but when I noticed my 99 overall team was getting burnt by a 91 overall team, I found out EA just slaps numbers and em cards and encourages you to throw money at them. Not me Bucko

Well... Around August/September when Madden 24 came out. Before that, I had a 99 overall team but that was Madden 19 & 20. I know no one cares but that's when I decided not to give EA my dough 🤫😁
