Ppl conceding SB for no apparent reason???

Alright, alright... I just faced a legit child, he didn't have any abilities applied, although he did have a Deebo LTD he managed to pack.

I spent all game chatting with him, trying to make a few suggestions, guessing "Run" on 100% of plays, so he could bomb the ball downfield before ultimately conceding in the 4th quarter.

I have no problem stomping mouthy teenagers, no clue how old this kid was, but I'd certainly hope someone would take it easy if/when they face my 10 year old son. I genuinely just wanted him to have a good time, same thing I'd hope for any of us, but it's in no way fair, let alone fun in a game completely driven by abilities. QBs can't even throw the damn ball without SFL. Uggh. I wouldn't have been able to sleep tonight if I won that game, so apparently this does happen more than I realized. 

How do you even go about trying to explain that to a new player?

Eh, most people don't play online to teach other people about the game or to spend time talking to them but it was nice if you to do that for the kid

Not many casuals, in the past I could almost always count on the first two games to be easy, perhaps even ~92 OVR lower teams, maybe with only a few basic abilities. I feel bad going against these dudes and almost never blitz them and try to use the time to practice my routes or whatever.

I'm 1-1 today in Superbowls, choked yet again on my first round, but just won my second. This feels way better than grinding for Genki 93s, I'm tired of the one play nonsense in Tug of War. Simulation fatball, eh?

Yeah I played a super sweaty player in House Rules and a little bit later they matched me up with them as my first Super Bowl run opponent and they were almost all the toxic and sweaty habits rolled into one for an  opponent and I got stomped by an inferior team but I had a great run last night though. Different day different opponents

If I left a match, it is always because I am bored. I am always bored by the opponent. Maybe you’re a boring opponent?

I have been doing this too. Especially if my team is better. There are enough assholes on this game. If I see it's your super bowl and it's my game 1-5...congratulations.

I have conceded out of several of my own SBs...if I'm not having fun I'm out...there is no pack or "reward" worth one minute of my time if not enjoyable.  I have conceded out in at least a dozen opponent SBs (their SB) without playing a single down (offense or defense)...I will never try and take a SB away from someone...heck...I will concede if it is your championship game for sure...divisional almost certainly and your wild card game if you don't have the top end cards (who am I kidding...I'll concede that one to you as well). There ain't a card EA can offer me that is more valuable then my time (fun or done is the only way I will play).

Agreed. Rewards this Madden have been awful and the act of winning a Superbowl is just not the 'high' it really should be. 1 Trophy Pack is a joke.

I’ve done it when the kids wake up early. Tend to just play when wife’s at work and they are sleeping.
