Unfortunately this type stuff tends to happen more than any of us care to admit. Hard to say without a lot more specific information if it could be as "simple" (or straight-forward, troubleshooting wireless internet is rarely simple) as WiFi issues to the console, or EA servers being a real pain in the dick. My best guess would be a coin flip, either/both options are entirely possible.
This is for Squads or online H2H play, or what game mode is your boy getting booted from?
I realize this isn't always possible, but i notice a significant difference between my Disc edition PS5, which is hard-wired via ethernet cable and the Digital edition PS5 in the corner of my bedroom, which is WiFi only. I can't promise this will fix the issues, but I guess network test from console is where i'd probably start. Someone running a microwave can easily choke off a WiFi connection by throwing tons of radio interference, to give a random example.

Thanks for the response.
We are past the typical troubleshooting. He has a digital Xbox series X. Xbox is hardwired with fiber internet.
This is just mut squad and head-to-head.
It's just random and consistent on the kick outs, usually 1 or 2 I get it but it's way to common.
Now, definitely could be an EA issue but just seeing if anyone had any idea before admitting defeat lol.

Seems you've already crossed off all the low hanging fruit i'd automatically advise folks check into. What about cross-play, does he have that enabled or disabled?? Maybe turn it off (for now), while you continue troubleshooting, just for giggles.
Last step, if you are comfortable navigating your friend's home router, you can check to see if he's got all the necessary ports forwarded / open. My 10 year old son kept getting disconnected from NBA2K `24 online games, once i forwarded the necessary port(s), the problems immediately went away. YMMV, but that's the last remaining item i'd suggest you check.

These ports must be open to connect to the Xbox network:
- Port 88 (UDP)
- Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
- Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
- Port 80 (TCP)
- Port 500 (UDP)
- Port 3544 (UDP)
- Port 4500 (UDP)
Note Some game developers require you to open additional ports. You should always check the game developer's website to see if the game you're playing needs additional ports to work.
Here's how my NBA port forwarding rules ended up looking, but the process will be specific to whatever type of router your boy has:
The information on PortForward site is similar, if not identical: https://portforward.com/madden-nfl-24/
Madden NFL 24 - Xbox Series X
- TCP: 3074
- UDP: 88, 500, 3074, 3544, 4500
Reason: added cross-play comment / question and image.
