That thread has pretty much everything known about it at this time. Not sure if there's anything confirmed about what you had to do to qualify. It might have just been random

If you are referring to the Madden VIP BETA:
This is tied directly to your EA Account. Using either your console/platform login or EA Account log in credentials, confirm your invitation here:

- If you were NOT selected, you should see a help page.
- Otherwise, you are required to provide a contact number to enroll and then agree to the BETA terms.
You should receive a confirmation email which says:
Welcome to the squad
As a Madden VIP, you’ll receive access to exclusive offers and opportunities. In the next few weeks, you’ll hear from your dedicated concierge; your human connection to Madden. They’ll be reaching out to you over the phone to answer questions and share more about some of the exciting things you can look forward to as a VIP.
Looks like you have to make a 'human connection' with an 800 number if you want to leave the program.
