Auction House Cheating

Anyone notice some type of auction house cheating?

I won an suction, the auction ended. I stayed in the room until it posted that it was the end. When I went back to the other auctions I was bidding on, all of sudden, the auction I just won was showing back up with just a few seconds left and someone else got the item for 100 coins more. This has happened before. Any idea how someone is able to cheat like this?

When I'm bidding half the time I get my coins right back. Other times I don't. When the card gets crazy high I wait til like 1 sec to bid. Seems like a legit strat because I be winning cards quite often like that. Maybe you got got lol.

A few minutes after I posted, the player appeared, and I ended up winning the auction.

I am not sure what was going on, but it has happened before. Very strange stuff.

I know in previous Maddens you could wait until the very last second and place your bid as the timer expired, and the timer would actually show 0 and that the auction ended for the other bidder, but the timer would actually restart with 16 seconds. 
Tbh, I previously used this strategy when I could tell I was bidding against one other player witha  low coin stack. I could tell by the delay in bidding, since I assumed they were having to leave the auction block to regain their coin stack after my bid overtook their own. So I would literally count down in synch with the auction timer, and I would bid exactly as the clock hit 0. It would "end" the auction for a moment, but then they timer would start once the bid registered. So many people would let their guard down thinking they won the bid, and they would stop exiting the auction house to regain their coin stack, since they thought they won. By the time they would realize, I would have won the auction.

Unfortunately you have to utilize all of EA's ineptitudes to build a toolbox to succeed in this game, from the auction house to the grid iron.

I am waiting until they post that the auction has ended, if they post the auction has ended, it should not be able to re-start. Sounds like some type of glitch that shouldn't happen. I am aware that many people wait until the last second, so if it is an auction I want to win, I do not leave the auction until I am prompted that it has ended. I am not bidding with a low coin stack, and have a couple million in reserves so, that shouldn't have been what was happening in my particular situation. I agree with your final statement!

That’s why I don’t bid on them anymore as I rarely rarely ever get one. The only thing I can think of is that the other person got it just at the last second but it didn’t show for you. But I saw you got it anyways, correct? May have been a glitch then too.

It's not cheating, it's just your connection to EA servers being slightly behind.  There was prolly a second or two remaining on the auction, but your timer showed 0.  The auction said ended, but it really wasn't.  It was just slow to update on your end.

Bidding on an auction just isn't the move unless you really want to babysit it, and by the time you end up spending on babysitting that auction, a cheaper BIN option might have popped up, or you could flip a card or two to make the profit to spend a bit extra on a BIN.

*edit* I see that you did in fact get the card.  Who friggin knows....EA servers at their finest!
