Any info on this? Like positions that shouldn't need a backup so that i can sell them for coins. Because my roster is so full and I could prob make 100k+ coins if I know what i can sell. But i dont wanna sell something then regret it later down the road.
o line and anything 4-5 on the depth chart for all positions
It will tell you as you remove backups. That said, you should try to always field as max of a team as you can to max out chem
I think it's easier to name what positions you might want to keep backups beyond what is necessary.
HB: I would keep at least 2 here. It's not as needed now but if fatigue is ever properly fixed you want at least one backup to your main hb in case he gets tired
TE: Depending on your scheme and if you like to use 3 TE sets it may be helpful to have a backup or 2. I like to keep at least 1 to be a run blocker
WR: Depending on your playbook, you may want a fourth wr but it's not strictly necessary if you have a good TE.
CB: Depending on your scheme you may use 4 in formations like dime or dollar so it can be worth it to have a quality player there.
FS/SS is scheme dependent one but if you want to run big nickel or use quarters it can be worth it to roster an extra safety or two.
DT might be worth it for goal line situations or 5-2.
Outside of keeping a mobile qb2 for qb runs/read option if you use a pocket passer, I think that's every position I would consider having a quality backup at. Anywhere else is mostly for TT chems.

This is very helpful. So, it almost fully comes down to what your scheme is, because that basically lays out your lineup. thx for the advice m8! Im still a bit new to madden and idrk what schemes to use. Is it okay if I dm you for a bit of advice?
