Please somebody help me!!! Man coverage!

I have 94 ovr Woolen CB1, 94 ovr Tillman CB2, 91 ovr Brents CB3 

anytime I’m in man coverage press or not press i get beat off the line on go routes or crossing routes and like my most recent game the guy had julius Thomas 93 speed 93 accel 90 release and he would beat woolen 94 speed 94 accel  94 press off the line and be 5 steps ahead going down the field I don’t understand how? sometimes pre snap I would  adjust the coverage using right stick to over the top and still get beat on the go/crossing route

I recommend zone. Beyond that I recommend cover 2 man

Man coverage isn’t reliable consistently, especially against drag/crossers. and press coverage is bound to get burnt eventually.

gotta mix in zone coverage. Also its not abnormal that a slower recover will beat a faster DB

I agree with alot whats been said, as someone who usually plays nearly all man when possible I play more zone than ever this year. Probably still play man more than most people though.

The other thing I would say is get rid of woolen. I owned him on like five different occasions and kept trying to like him and get him to work for me but he was beyond trash for me. Some people seem to love him but thats my experience.

Always have him in deep blue, and he is solid, man him up and pay the price. his cod and agility is soft as baby shit

better use bench press on them boys

Man coverage is the most stressful coverage to run because any route beats man this year, but not consistently.

I put only my cbs in man and ny safties in zone with my middle linebackers

Yea definitely spot on u want solid advice this it right here try to mix it best u can best man coverages come from dime for the pass coverages big nickel for the pass rushes nickel for the runs

Man is spotty at best this year but if you really wanna run it then I suggest picking up Champ and Moss at CB and Bo and Troy CA and use Troy at FS...... if you have the coin....

In man Peters is also pretty good. Playoff Slay ...his cards always play lockdown.

Shading up in man isn't very effective and neither is press. Also you should use man cvg abilities on your DBs.

In spite of having man to man archetype corners, they suck at it! Whenever I’m running man I’m usually trying to blitz so maybe that’s the only way to run it successfully who knows 🤷‍♂️

I do man frequently but sometimes you have to throw in zone to keep them off balance, the most annoying defenses to play are those that are completely unpredictable. Also if you do man I recommend cover 2 man or some sort of blitz to bring quick pressure forcing them to throw short or under pressure, so even if they have an open reciever it won’t be instant touchdown

I do the same thing, I blitz but not every play otherwise they figure out routes to beat you
