Am I the only one who seems to think ZC Woolen SUCKS

I want to like this card so bad, his size, most of his ratings (other than less than ideal agility and short area quickness and deceptively AWFUL run support, seriously look at them, he has HORRIBLE tackle, strength, blockshed, pursuit etc for someone his size) and skillset, his chem, should all be great for me. If nothing else I wanted to kick Tillman to slot and have woolen replace him as CB2, but Hester seems too good where he is might just go back to Tillman. 

Ive owned him two or three times now and I think im about to sell him again and buy Tillman back (both are my CB2, CB1 is Moss, nickel is Hester) Woolen just geats beat ALL the time compared to others. Maybe its because I ask alot less of him, but I swear his harvest MCS card was better. Or at least the same quality. Either would be bad considering price. Idk, i guess ill try a few more games, well see.

Woolen over Tillman just for the fact he gets deep out zone ko. If you're not running that. Then you don't need him.

Couldnt spare 3 ap for that on him (if anything id run it on peppers since hes almost always in deep zones, my corners play like 60-65 percent zone but alot of man too so theres thag) is the discounted medium route ko any good on him (or tillman if i go back to him, for that matter?) Or just stick with 1 AP PA you think?

Idk why ur woolen sucks but mine has been amazing on the outside with dozko.

Idk you kind of need to be running 2 deep out z kos. Everything else is kind of mid.

If thats that good of a setup I think Ill try it, it will radically change my D and AP setup but im super bored rn between seasons anyway and trying to find a way to enjoy using him if possible so ill try it. If you have 6 AP on two players deep zones im curious what do you use the rest on? I already have mid zone ko on gronk im keeping that so thats already 8 spoken for. Would you use the rest on PAs or inside stuff types?

Woolen has a been a little sus for me too. He got mossed  by Julio and he sometimes gets lost/stuff in coverage.

Id say the Woolen card’s stats and measurables make you believe hes a top 3 CB in the game but does play a down from his attributes. But as for why you have troubles with your Woolen is probably because you run man coverage. Most people that are getting 100% out of Woolen are people that are putting DZKO on him and play him on outside blue to cover corners and prevent getting beat deep EXCLUSIVELY. He was alright for me playing cloud flats in cover 2 scheme. I think if abilities dont matter to you you might as well run Rasul Douglas for a little cheaper

And before I sold off a chunk of my team I was running DZKO on Tatum and Mike Evans, (5AP) inside stuff on Bakhtiari and Carter (2AP), flat zone KO on Hester and an extra AP slot to flex for whoever I wanted

Thanks for the detailed response man. Im actually pretty good at taking away corners myself (on my side anyway with the fs , currently evans) So I'll keep playing around with stuff, is medium route ko any good (on him OR tillman) since I do also play alot of man and its less AP?

Bro this card is such ass. And it’s the one I chose for my BND ZC champ. Right now he’s my dime corner, gets burnt constantly

I dont know anything about the route KOs because I dont run man at all due to it being easily exploitable by good players. But it would depend on your man scheme. With the AP increase coming tomorrow though the man KO abilities might become more worth it. When I had ZC Ramsey with 0 AP MRKO it didnt really pop out to me or see it flash

I still rock the free MCS woolen and I never have issues going against high end teams. Occasionally he will get mossed by the man himself, sanders and OBJ with collector’s edition double me but other than those 3 I still get picks with him every few games. I’ve learned that when I go against those 3 I have to swat and he does great. I don’t care about getting picks with my corners but rather that they can defend and breakup passes. I don’t run abilities on any DB except for Peppers who I have as a deep safety with 0AP lurk artist. I cover the corners with either Berry or Carmichael (3-4 & 4-3) or field pass Woodson in the big nickel/nickel (I sub in a safety at slot corner always for better run stopping in the nickel). Currently in legend and 1 win away from another superbowl

Woolen is phenomenal for me at cb1 in a cover 2 scheme.

No complaints about Woolen here!
